Chambers now open for pupillage applications

Chambers is now advertising for prospective pupils for pupillages starting in 2016: the advertisement can be found here.  The closing-date for applications is 18 December 2015.

Re-appointments retain strong Civitas presence on Treasury Solicitor's Panel

Chambers would like to congratulate Mona Bayoumi and Richard Cole following their re-appointment as Junior Counsel to the Crown (appointed until 2020).  

Junior Counsel to the Crown undertake litigation on behalf of Government departments across a range of areas of law. Both Mona and Richard were first appointed as Junior Counsel to the Crown in 2010.

Civitas Law receives 12 rankings from new edition of Chambers and Partners

Civitas Law has followed the positive reviews from The Legal 500 with an impressive array of 12 rankings from the new edition of the UK Bar Guide 2016 published by Chambers and Partners.  Significantly, 9 of the rankings are at Band 1 level.  Chambers has particularly strong showings in Personal injury and Clinical negligence, Employment, Commercial dispute resolution and Administrative and public law.
