Police Law
Civitas Law has a long association of acting on behalf of the Welsh Police Forces. Members also act on behalf of a number of Forces in England. The main focus is on litigation concerning civil orders in the Magistrates and Crown Court, before Local Authority Licensing Committees, coronial courts, employment tribunals and more traditional civil litigation in the County and High courts. The team also represent the Appropriate Authority and act as legal advisor to panels dealing with internal disciplinary hearings at the Welsh Forces. Several members are recognised by the legal directories for the work they undertaken on behalf of the police.
