Owain Rhys James is instructed on behalf of the Respondent in MJ (Sri Lanka) v SSHD.

Having appeared before Butcher J at the inteirm relief and permission hearing (heard at Manchester Civil Justice Centre), Owain subsequently represented the Respondent Secretary of State at an urgent interim relief hearing before the Court of Appeal. The case concerns the assessment of accomodation needs and the application of the Secretary of State's allocation policy for those receving accomodation support pursuant to section 4 of the Nationality and Asylum Act 1999.
