Dylan joined Chambers for Pupillage in September 2023 and will begin taking instructions from March 2024 across all areas of practice, in an advisory capacity and for appearances at Court.
Dylan is originally from Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, where he was educated at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman before attending Aberystwyth University’s Law School for his undergraduate degree in Law. Dylan later obtained his Master’s degree and completed the Bar Professional Training Course from Cardiff University. Along with experience in the housing sector Dylan has a keen interest in Company Law, which was the focus of his Master’s dissertation.
Prior to Pupillage and whilst at Aberystwyth University, Dylan undertook legal experience with Ceredigion County Council.
Also working as a legal caseworker, attending Court duty on behalf of Shelter Cymru. During this time, Dylan advised tenants within both private and social housing on matters including possession proceedings, disrepair disputes and homelessness, as well as representing clients in Court on a weekly basis acingt on behalf of tenants in possession hearings.
Dylan then moved onto being a County Court Advocate where he has attended Court over 300 times in the South Wales Circuit undertaking matters such as:

Return of goods
Bankruptcy
Summary Judgments
Applications to set aside judgments
Allocation hearings
Directions hearings
Infant Settlements
