Civitas Law's dedicated blog is available at RentingHomesWales.com to help all parties navigate the biggest change to domestic rental law in decades.

Civitas Law continues to offer tailored packages to assist Registered Social Landlords and Local Authorities with implementing the Renting Homes (Wales) Act. Drafting and advice can be provided bilingually. WE also offer advice, training and drafting for private landlords and tenants/tenant organisations.

Our members can provide as much or as little assistance as you require: we are able to provide the full suite of draft contracts, updating policies and training; for others we are able review internal drafts and advise accordingly. We are able to provide ongoing advice and training on an ad hoc or a scheduled basis.  We can work with you directly or alongside your current legal advisers. Our aim is to offer an individualised package that meets your needs.

All of that work can be carried out bilingually (both in terms drafting documents and, importantly given the equal-standing of the Welsh and English language versions of the Act, in interpreting the legislation).

If you are interested in instructing our memebers to draft, advise or provide training; please do not hesitate to contact Sandra Harvey, senior clerk at Sandra.Harvey@civitaslaw.com or on 029 2037 5020.
