12th & 14th October 2010Law Society Seminar: Equality Act 2010 Jonathan Walters (Head of Civitas Law’s Employment Group) and Christopher Howells, will explain how legislation in the forthcoming Equality Act 2010 (due to come into force in October 2010) harmonises and in some cases extends existing discrimination law. The CPD seminar, hosted by the Law Society Wales, is intended to provide an overview of the Equality Act 2010 so that practitioners are not caught out by the new provisions. Particular focus will be placed on the new additions to discrimination law that employment lawyers will need to familiarise themselves with.
