Our Future

A key requirement of our future developmental strategy rests in attracting dedicated and able individuals to join Civitas Law.

We will only grant pupillages to candidates we regard as prospective tenants. Inevitably, therefore, our selection process is rigorous, with candidates needing to display high intellectual capabilities and possessing a 2:1 or first class degree, as well as being able to demonstrate a commitment to the civil and public law bar. For further information about Pupillage, click here.

We welcome applications to join Civitas Law from practitioners who are already established in our specialist fields. Our barristers practice from grade one office premises in Cardiff Bay with excellent communication links to the M4 and beyond. We have a helpful, courteous and efficient administration team who assist in managing all aspects of our barristers’ practices, including marketing, diary management, fee collection, and client care.

Staff and barristers have available to them state of the art technology and on line services to maximise their efficiency. We operate Meridian chambers management software which enables our personnel to access diaries, emails, work, billing information and our extensive on line library facilities both in chambers and remotely, via laptop computers, Blackberries or iPhones. We have ADSL and ISDN video conferencing facilities on site and use Olympus digital dictation.

If you would like to join us, please contact our Chambers Director, David Jones, in the strictest of confidence on 0845 0713 007 or by email at david.jones@civitaslaw.com
