Owain Rhys James acts for Welsh Government in significant insolvency and environmental challenges

Owain Rhys James is currently instructed to act for the Counsel General for Wales and the Welsh Ministers, led by Ian Rogers QC of Monckton Chambers, in respect of proceedings related to the Baglan Energy Park.

The High Court, Chancery Division (Sir Alastair Norris sitting as a Judge of the High Court) handed down judgment on Monday in respect of an application made pursuant to section 168 of the Insolvency Act 1986 modifying the Official Receiver’s decision. Owain is also instructed in the related Judicial Review proceedings brought by the Welsh Government against the Business Secretary.
