Civitas Law continues to support the development of young lawyers in Wales through its contribution to the annual Cardiff University Mooting Competition. This is a key event with the academic programme and involves undergraduates together with those studying towards a Graduate Diploma in Law.
Members of Chambers Elizabeth Marshall and Christopher Howells were the judges for this year’s competitions. There were some excellent performances from the competitors and the winners receive mini pupillages at Civitas Law.
In the 3rdYear/GDL final, judged by Elizabeth Marshall there was one winner, Elizabeth described as ‘the standout performer. In the 2ndyear final the standard was very high, and Christopher Howells judged that two competitors should receive prizes.
